Our good friend Ian S. invited us to have a "field day" at the G4TechTV
studios in LA. The place was very high tech, with everything from "plasma
televisions" to "microwave ovens." We were scheduled to play
"Star Wars Battlefront" on their live show "The Screensavers."
Is Rocco chilling on the Screensavers set? Or is he illing? It's a statistical
dead heat!
Rocco whistles a showtune, while The Screensavers' Yoshi ponders a way to
make a PC mod that looks as deformed as Rocco's skull.
Once the on-air LAN Party began, we actually got bumped off to make room for
the writers and directors of the movie "Saw," so they told us to
just play whatever PC games we wanted to in the background. So we loaded up
Minesweeper and Solitaire. Which we soon got scolded for.
Derrick then loaded up MS Paint and drew this masterpiece. Needless to say,
it didn't make it on air.
After The Screensavers, we attended a taping of "Unscrewed." Here,
the delightful Martin Sargeant plays a festive flute tune! Minutes later,
"Unscrewed" was cancelled.
